North Korea Relief, also known as NKR, has received sad news 4 days ago that the family members of North Korean refugees who have settled in South Korea, were arrested by the Public Security of China while being rescued by brokers.
* What is NKR?
Nehemiah Relief Fund, also known as NRF, has renamed itself as NKR, which stands for North Korea Relief to provide rescue and relief for North Korean refugees as quickly as possible. Please join us by prayers and donations to help more refugees escape and to be saved.
One of them is living in fear of being rearrested to the land where he risked his life to reunite with his mother, whom he has not seen for 17 years.
Today on November 6th, 2019, NKR will be carrying out rescue effort for Mr. Moses Kim, a 19-year-old who could possibly be the age of your son or brother, along with five other North Korean refugees.
These six refugees aged from teens to thirties, three of whom are male and the other three females, are now staying in a temporary residence located in a rural area in a developing country, desperately waiting for your helping hands.
Five of the six refugees have recently escaped from North Korea and now waiting in a developing country, and another one, having escaped from North Korea 10 years ago and been living a precarious life without even an identification in a city in China, was determined to go to South Korea.
Here is the list of the refugees who are waiting for immediate rescue as of November 6th, 2019.

#Case 1 Esther Jang_ 32 years old
I was born and raised in Janggang-do in North Korea and moved to China at age 16 to make a living. Living in a country for more than ten years without an identification has been very tough. I have problems with my back and thyroid but couldn’t go see a doctor due to being an “alien” and had to live in fear, not knowing when I will get caught and sent back home. I have my mother and sister still in North Korea. I am currently staying in a temporary residence here in China but not guaranteed safety. I also have heard that other refugees staying in a different residence have been arrested.
But I had an opportunity to encounter God in China, and ever since the encounter, I believe that God has protected me all along. If I get to settle in South Korea, my dream to start a new life of making friends, to go to church with will come true.
Please help me move to South Korea and settle for a safe, humane life.
